Thankful For Our Christmas

Hello, Dear Ones! First of all I'd like to thank you all for checking in on me here and on Facebook. Mr. Precious and I are very much improved from Covid. We both had had both vaccines and were boostered. We went to have Christmas with our daughter and her family and a couple of days before we left - she started getting sick. Then I started getting sick and the story goes...

Anyway, we had a great time with these two little knuckleheads.
They are so fun and just love them to pieces and the most wonderful thing is - they love us to pieces too!
We enjoyed going to a beautiful Christmas Eve service with the family. The weather was just so beautiful - warm and sunny!
I spent time with my granddog, Otis. He had grown so much since we'd seen him last. Look at his golden eyes!
Then we ran into this youngster! He just sat there looking so proud and didn't seem to be afraid of me.
We went into the Beau Rivage Casino, not to gamble because we just don't, but to look at the decorations. They were so beautiful. Look at this mama polar bear and baby!
Then there was Santie Claus and his reindeer soaring overhead!
Gotta have nutcrackers at Christmas time.
Here are my little knuckleheads on Pajama Day from their last day at school before the Christmas break.
There's Santie again!

I pray you all had a wonderful Christmas. I do appreciate those of you who have come back to see me after I've started blogging again and here's to us and more blogging in 2022!

Be a bunch of sweeties,                                                                                                                        Shelia :)

I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~

Auld Lang Syne

 Should auld acquaintance be forgot

And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For days of auld lang syne
We twa hae run about the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine
But we've wander'd mony a weary fit
Sin days of auld lang syne
And we twa hae paidl'd I' the burn
Frae morning sun 'til dine
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin days of auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For days of auld lang syne
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp
And surely I'll be mine
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
And there's a hand, my trusty fiere
And gie's a hand o' thine
And we'll tak a right gude-willy waught
For auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne
