Christmasing On Little Richard

 Hello, Dear Ones! Today I want to bring you into my little entry to see Little Richard is all dressed up for Christmas!

I have this old Nativity sitting here on top.

Lots of to do is going on to honor the birth of Baby Jesus.

My old Nativity comes in two pieces: The Holy family

Then the three Wisemen.

There was not an angel with my Nativity, but this one came to oversee the scene. I put this angel together many years ago. Her head, hands, wings and the plastic cone she stands on came in the kit and then I had to pick my fabric and make the dress and then her cape. I still think she is a pretty angel and she is the correct size to fit with this Nativity.

Among the pines and ribbons, sits my little Bible that I carried to church when I was a little girl. If you will look closely at Jesus' face you'll see I gave him some very luscious eyelashes! It's so old and falling apart but I use it each Christmas season.

I've opened my little Bible to this beautiful painting of the birth of Jesus. Dear Ones, we all get caught up in buying presents, wrapping them, getting together with family and friends and of course decorating! All these things are wonderful but the main reason we celebrate this time of year is because of the birth of our Savior Jesus!
